The Environmental Programs Department works to protect the health of the citizens of Worcester County from diseases and hazards found in the environment and to ensure sanitary constructions and related services are provided in a way that protects public health. This department manages delegated programs from both the Department of the Environment and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as well as county delegated programs. Services provided are as follows:
