Let Your Voices Be Heard: The Maryland Department of the Environment will conduct a Public Hearing on March 25 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Wor-Wic on an application from US Wind to construct a 625-foot by 32-foot concrete pier in West Ocean City. ​​

23-WL-0813/202361274/24-WQC-0004/US WIND INC, C/O JEFFREY GRYBOWSKI, 401 East Pratt Street, Suite 1810, Baltimore, MD has applied to construct a 625 foot long by 32 foot wide concrete pier with associated wave break and timber fenders and 435 linear feet of replacement bulkhead with associated timber fenders, all within a maximum of 390 feet channelward of the mean high water line. The purpose of the project is to improve navigable access. The project is located at 12929 and 12933 Harbor Road, Ocean City, Worcester County, Maryland  21842A public information hearing has been scheduled for the referenced project on March 25, 2024. The hearing will begin at 6:00 PM and end no later than 8:00 PM with a poster session from 5:30 PM until 6:00 PM. The public information hearing will be held at Wor-Wic Community College, 32000 Campus Drive, Salisbury, Maryland  21804 in the Fulton-Owen Hall.
