Berlin MD- On May 2, 2022, a highly food conditioned, and aggressive horse was relocated from Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland. Delegate's Pride (N6ELS-H, also known as “Chip”) is a harem stallion on Assateague Island that had become increasingly aggressive towards park visitors and staff when pursuing human food or when park staff attempted to redirect him or his band away from crowded visitor use areas such as campgrounds and parking areas.

Snow Hill, MD (April 28, 2022) – Following an extensive forensic investigation into a phishing incident that occurred between November 10-20, 2020, Worcester County Government (WCG) agencies and cybersecurity professionals discovered that a WCG email account had been breached. That email account contained limited personal information belonging to approximately 3,000 WCG and Board of Education (BOE) employee and retiree accounts.

She stepped into her new role on March 28. Schwendeman earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant business management. She brings 36 years of experience in the hospitality industry to her new position.
Tomorrow, April 20, the Worcester County Recreation Center in Snow Hill will be opening to the public at 8:00 a.m.
Snow Hill, Maryland (April 18, 2021) – Three options are available for the scheduled public hearings at Stephen Decatur High School on April 19 at 6 p.m. on a proposal to purchase property in the Berlin area to develop a sports complex using general obligation bond funds. The public may attend in-person, view the hearing online via Zoom, or call in to listen.
Worcester County Government offices, including all five Branch Libraries, will be closed Friday, April 15, 2022, in observance of Good Friday. Normal business hours will resume Monday, April 18.
